9.1b V6 engine direct injection system units
1. Exhaust gas temperature sensor (california only); 2. Air flow regulator; 3. Pneumatic recirculation valve; 4. Tank with absorber; 5. Flow speed sensor; 6. Recirculation electromagnetic valve; 7. Throttle position sensor
Necessary precautions:
- a). It is prohibited to disconnect the battery while the engine is running.
- b) Before depressurizing the system, perform decompression.
- c) Before removing any system component, disconnect the battery from ground and turn the ignition key to the Off position.
- d) The wiring harnesses of the system must be located at least 10 mm from other harnesses (including antenna cable),
- d) Check the reliability of all connections, as poor contacts will cause sparking due to breakdown in the spark plugs and the ignition unit will fail.
- e) Before starting the engine, it is prohibited to press the throttle pedal.
- g). Keep in mind that the fuel pump operation is controlled by several relays. After the engine stops, the pump is switched off under the influence of pressure and voltage drop signals on the generator.
