1. The pump is mounted in the fuel tank.
2. Perform decompression and disconnect the battery from ground.
3. Raise the vehicle and remove the tank (see below).
4. Carefully tap out the locking plate with a brass punch (steel is not allowed).
5. Remove the pump assembly with the fuel level sensor.
6. Remove the pump.
7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
