Throttle body (for systems with TVI pre-injection) (Nissan Terrano 1)

Removal

1. Perform decompression and disconnect the battery from ground.

2. Drain about 1 liter of liquid.

3. Remove the air filter.

4. Disconnect the throttle actuator cable and cruise control cable from the throttle linkage (photo).





5. Disconnect the pressure regulator and fast idle expander hoses, unscrew the 4 nuts and remove the housing with the gasket.

Installation

6. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Check that all cables, hoses and connectors are connected correctly.

7. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks near the injectors. Check the idle speed. Warm up the engine and top up the fluid.
