Attention! It is strictly forbidden to repair the tank by soldering or welding. When removing the tank, observe fire safety regulations.
1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Unscrew the plug and drain the gasoline.
3. Disconnect and plug all hoses (photo). Disconnect the wires.
16.3 Fuel tank hoses and pipes and flush the tank with running water for several minutes.
4. Remove the tank shield (if provided).
5. Loosen the bolts and carefully remove the tank.
6. It is recommended to flush the tank immediately. Replace the tank if it is heavily corroded.
