1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Disconnect the wires from the fuel level sensor.
3. Remove the tank.
4. Knock out the locking plate with a brass tool (steel is not allowed) punch and remove the pump assembly with the fuel level sensor. Plug the hole.
6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
