1. If the muffler is intact and only the inner pipe is damaged by corrosion, it is recommended to cut the pipe by welding and replace it on site.
2. Raise the vehicle and place it on stands.
3. Unscrew the clamp nuts (step ladder).
4. Use a hammer to break the seal at the pipe joint.
5. Using a soft-faced hammer, dislodge the muffler and remove it from the pipe.
6. Loosen the bolts securing the brackets to the frame and remove the end section with the muffler.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Seal the joint with high-temperature sealant.
