Closed Throttle Position Training (Nissan X-Trail T31)

The procedure is an operation to teach the ECM the closed throttle position by monitoring the output signal of the throttle angle sensor. It must be performed every time the connector is disconnected from the throttle actuator or the ECM.

Procedure of execution

1. Make sure the accelerator pedal is fully released.

2. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position.

3. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position and wait at least 10 seconds.

Check to see if the throttle valve moves within the specified 10 seconds.
