Removal
1. Remove the air duct and air cleaner housing.
2. Disconnect the electrical wiring connector.
3. Remove the sensor and throttle switches.

The installation is carried out taking into account the following:
Insert the sensor into the throttle chamber so that the connector is in the position shown in the figure. Turn the sensor in the direction of the arrow and tighten the mounting screw.

After making the adjustments described below, tighten the fastener to the required torque.

Adjustment
1. After securing the throttle sensor, connect the connector and warm up the engine.
2. Leave the engine running at idle. (or with the engine off, disconnect the vacuum hose from the throttle opener and apply vacuum using a hand vacuum pump). Insert feeler gauges of the thickness specified below between the adjusting lever and the throttle drum. Disconnect the switch connector and move the throttle sensor to make adjustments by measuring the resistance between terminals 1 and 2.

- Probe thickness 0.2 mm: 0 Σ (idle contact closed)
- Probe thickness 0.3 mm: infinity Σ (idle contact open)
Caution: Do not turn the throttle adjusting screw.
3. Tighten the throttle position sensor mounting bolt.
4. Repeat the check described in point 2.
5. Using the CONSULT tester, make sure that in the mode "DATA MONITOR" paragraph "CLOSED THL/SW" (idle state) switches to the ON position.
Switch the idle state from the OFF position (engine speed is high) to the ON position by repeatedly turning the ignition key from the ON position to the OFF position over 4-5 seconds.
(The standard ON/OFF switching frequency is 3-10 times).
6. Start the engine and make sure that the idle speed is at a normal level. If the idle speed is not normal, perform the idle air supply learning procedure, see above.
