Check the resistance between terminals No.1 and No.2 of the engine coolant temperature sensor.
Resistance:
- At engine coolant temperature of approx. 20°C: approx. 2.5 kN
- At engine coolant temperature of approx. 80°C: approx. 0.3 kN
Removal
1. Drain the coolant on a cold engine.
2. Disconnect the wiring connector from the bottom of the vehicle.
3. Unscrew the coolant temperature sensor.
