Examination
1. The sensor is a thermistor connected in series with a temperature indicator.
2. The sensor is screwed into the right front corner of the intake manifold.
3. If the indicator does not register the temperature, check the fuses and the circuit. To do this, disconnect the wire from the sensor and connect it to ground. Turn on the ignition and turn it off after a few seconds. If the indicator arrow has deviated into the Hot sector, the sensor is faulty. Otherwise, the indicator or circuit is faulty.
4. At a temperature of 60°C the sensor resistance is 70-90 Ohm, and at 100°C - 24 0m.
Replacement
5. With the engine still warm, drain the fluid and disconnect the wire from the sensor.
6. Screw in the sensor and screw in the new one, tighten securely. Do not use sealant.
