8.1 Expansion tank bolts on V6 engines
2. Drain the coolant.
3. Remove the fan with the casing and the accessory belts.
4. On V6 engines: remove the pump pulley and the damper pulley from the crankshaft, remove the timing belt covers.
5. Unscrew the pump mounting bolts (photo).

6. Remove the pump, remove the old seal.
7. When assembling, lubricate the gasket with sealant and install it on the cylinder block (photo).
8.7 V6 Engine Coolant Pump Parts
1. For rear-wheel drive vehicles; 2. Gasket; 3. For all-wheel drive vehicles
8. Tighten the bolts evenly to the specified torque.
9. The remaining operations are performed in reverse order. Adjust the belt tension, fill with liquid, warm up the engine and make sure there are no leaks. If necessary, add liquid.
