3. Remove the air filter and upper radiator hose.
4. Unscrew the thermostat cover bolts.
5. Remove the thermostat, paying attention to its orientation (photo).

6. Carefully remove the old seal.
7. Apply a thin bead of silicone sealant to the thermostat cover.
8. Install the gasket on the cover.
9. Install the thermostat (photo), cover, put on the ground wire terminal and tighten the bolts.
3.9 The thermostat is installed so that the ventilation valve (1) or vibration valve (2) faces upwards.
10. Install all parts, fill with liquid, and without closing the radiator with the plug, warm up the engine. Add liquid and tighten the plug.
V6 Engine
11. Remove the fan with the casing and the accessory belts. Raise the vehicle.
12. Disconnect the lower hose from the branch pipe by unscrewing the bracket bolt and loosening the clamp.
13. Loosen the second clamp and remove the pipe
14. Unscrew the bolts and remove the cover (photo).
3.14 V6 Engine Thermostat
15. Remove the thermostat, paying attention to its location, and remove the seal.
16. Install the thermostat with the spring facing the engine.
17. Install the gasket, lubricate it with sealant, put on the cover (photo) and tighten the bolts.

18. Install the remaining parts, fill with fluid, warm up the engine and check for leaks.
