Removal and installation

Removal

1. Remove the ignition coils. See below.

2. Remove the spark plugs using a wrench (suitable special tool)

Caution: Do not drop or hit spark plugs.

Installation

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

Check after removal

Under normal operating conditions, use standard spark plugs.

Attention:

• Do not drop or hit spark plugs.
• Do not clean with a wire brush.

• If there is carbon deposits on the spark plug tip, you can use spark plug cleaner.

Air pressure in the cleaner.

Less than 588 kPa (6 kg/cm³).

Cleaning time: Less than 20 seconds.

• There is no need to check or adjust the spark gap between replacements.
