1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Remove the handle by pressing on the handle, turning it and pulling it towards you.
3. Unscrew the ring nut.
4. Disconnect the wires from the switch block.
5. Remove the switch from the back of the instrument cluster.
6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
