1. Set the gear selector to position "R".
2. Connect the end of the shift cable to the lever and tighten the cable locknut.
3. Connect the shift cable to the lever shown in the illustration and screw the cable with attachment to the box.
4. Pull back the shift cable (see illustration) to the right. This should be done with a dynamometer. To do this, attach a dynamometer to the lever and pull to the right. Should be a value of 0.7 kg.
To shift cable adjustment
1 - gear selection lever on the box; 2 - fastening nut; 3 - counter-support; 4 - shift cable
5. Move the shift cable 1.0 mm to the left and tighten the locknut.
6. Shift the gear selector from position "R" through all gears in position "1", to check the shift mechanism. Check that the gearbox is in position "R" (parking) was blocked. Otherwise, make the required adjustment as described.
7. After each adjustment, start the engine again and change gears again.
8. Finally, tighten both nuts on the cable end.
