Headrests
Headrest adjustment
To raise the head restraint, you need to pull it up. To lower the head restraint, press the release button and push down on the head restraint.
The rear seat head restraints must only be in one of the locking positions, which corresponds to the recess in the head restraint pillar. The lowest position of the head restraint allows the seat back to be folded down and provides rearward visibility. The lowest working position of the head restraint is at the level of the first notch on the pillar. Further adjustments are made as needed.
The height of the head restraints should be adjusted so that the center of the head restraint is at ear level.
Active front seat head restraints (if any)
Attention: Head restraints must always be correctly adjusted (see above). Incorrect adjustment may reduce the effectiveness of the active head restraint.
Active head restraints are a complement to other passive safety features. Always fasten your seat belt. None of the existing protective systems provides complete protection in the event of an accident.
Upon impact with the rear of the vehicle, the active head restraint moves forward due to the inertia of the body of the passenger in the seat.
Moving the headrest cushion forward helps to reduce the dynamic tilt of the head back and reduces the effect of «whip»
Active head restraints are active in collisions at low and medium speeds, when injuries associated with this effect are most common.
Active head restraints are only effective in certain types of rear-end collisions. After a collision, the head restraints return to their original position.
Active head restraints must always be correctly adjusted (see above).
Rear seats
The lowest (non-working) the position of the headrest allows the seatback to be folded down and provides rearward visibility. The lowest working position of the head restraint is at the level of the first notch on the pillar. Further adjustments are made as needed.
Longitudinal seat adjustment
The rear seats can be moved forward or backward from the passenger compartment Ⓐ. To do this, pull the lever under the seat cushion up. In addition, the seat can be moved from the side of the luggage compartment (IN), for which you first need to release the latch ①, and then press or pull the handle ②.
