Outdoor lighting

Caution: Do not leave exterior lights on for long periods of time when the engine is not running.
Automatic lighting system (if any)
This system provides automatic switching on and off of outdoor lighting devices. The system can perform the following functions:
- Automatic switching on of headlights, front and rear side lights, license plate lights and instrument cluster lighting when natural light levels decrease.
- Automatic switching off of the specified lighting devices when natural lighting improves.
1) Turn the light switch to the AUTO position. 2) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
To turn off the automatic lighting system, turn the light switch to the OFF position,
Daylight mode (if any)
Even if the headlight switch remains in the off position, the following lights are automatically switched on after the engine is started: low beam headlights, front and rear side lights, license plate light and instrument cluster light. However, it is not possible to switch from low beam to high beam.
If you turn the headlight switch to the position
Turning on high beam headlights

- 1. To turn on the high beam, you need to press the switch lever forward when it is in the position

Lane change alarm
To warn of a lane change, press the switch lever up or down ① until the turn signals start flashing
Direction indicator
Move the lever up or down ② to warn of right or left turn. After completing the turn, the lever automatically returns to its original position
Headlight off timer (if any)
This function is designed for your convenience. You can use the headlights for a while even after the key or ignition switch has been turned to the LOCK position. When you pull the lever towards you once, the headlights will remain on for about 30 seconds. After that, the headlights will automatically turn off. You can pull the lever towards you up to four times and increase the duration of the headlights' on state up to 2 minutes.
Note: The headlight timer function is cancelled when the key or ignition switch is turned to the ACC or ON position.
Energy saving function (if any)
The power saving function prevents the battery from discharging if you leave the vehicle with the exterior lights, local lights or interior light on (the switch is in the position
Note: When the ignition is switched on again, the exterior lights, local lights or the dome light will turn on again.
Energy saving function for outdoor lighting fixtures (if any)
If the exterior lights are accidentally left on after the ignition is turned off, they will be automatically turned off when the driver's side door is opened. You can leave the exterior lights on permanently using the headlight switch when the ignition switch is in the LOCK or OFF position. In this case, a warning chime will sound when the driver's side door is opened.
Energy saving function for interior lighting (if any)
The interior lighting switches off automatically after approximately 15 minutes if it has been forgotten to be left on.
