42.1. Location of heating pipes and fan behind the instrument panel
2. The valves can be removed from the dashboard on the passenger side of the car. In practice, this is quite difficult to do, so it is recommended to remove the dashboard first so that you can remove the brackets and push out the valves (see photos). Note that the small side grilles of the windshield heater have pipes behind them that are attached with one screw.
42.2. Instrument panel grilles installed in the opening

3. To remove the rear heater pipes, first remove the front seats (Chapter 34), center console (Chapter 36), footwell trim panels and door sill protector panels (Chapter 33). Remove the instrument panel (Chapter 37) and unscrew the bolts from the driver's footrest. Depress the brake pedal and remove the dashboard hanger bracket so that the carpets can be rolled up. Now remove the pipes, which are secured at the front with one screw.
4. Assembly is carried out in reverse order, according to the relevant Chapters.
