2. Unscrew the oil filter.
3. Unscrew and remove the oil pressure sensor.
4. Remove the toothed drive belt (Chapter 5).
5. Remove the cylinder head (Chapter 6).
6. Lay the engine on its side.
7. Remove the oil pan and oil pump (Chapters 7 and 8).
8. Remove the pistons and connecting rod bearings (Chapter 9).
9. Unscrew and remove the flywheel, having first marked the position relative to the installation protrusion.
10. Remove the engine/transmission coupling plate.
11. Unscrew the crankshaft oil seal retainer bolts and remove the retainer.
12. Remove the main bearing cap mounting bolts (Figure 1.28).

14. Remove the covers.
15. If the inserts are to be reused, store them with their corresponding lids.
16. Remove the crankshaft from the crankcase.
17. Remove the remaining liners from their places in the crankcase.
18. Unscrew and remove the inner partition of the carger.
