On-car maintenance — checking steering wheel turning moment (Nissan X-Trail T31)

1. Stop the vehicle on a level, dry surface and apply the parking brake.

2. Adjust the tire pressure to the correct level.

3. Start the engine.

4. Check the steering wheel turning moment by turning it 360° from the neutral position.

Note: Multiply the distance (L) from the dynamometer hook to the center of the steering wheel by the value measured by the dynamometer.
