1. Turn the steering wheel so that the front wheels of the vehicle are in the straight ahead position.
2. Start the engine and smoothly turn the steering wheel left and right until the steered wheels begin to turn.
3. Measure the steering wheel play along the outer radius. It should be 0-35 mm.
4. If the measurement results are greater than the standard value, check the play in each pivot of the steering column assembly and the installation condition of the steering assembly.
