1. Turn the steering wheel so that the front wheels of the car are in a straight-ahead position.
2. Start the engine and smoothly turn the steering wheel left and right until the steering wheels begin to turn.
3. Measure the steering wheel play along the outer radius. It should be 0-35 mm.
4. If the measurement results exceed the standard value, check the play in each joint of the steering column assembly and the installation condition of the steering gear assembly.
