Removal
- Raise and securely support the vehicle.
- Remove the spring as described in the section "Lower rear link and spring".
- Remove the wheel speed sensor from the hub support and the sensor wiring harness from the suspension arm.
- Remove the bolt connecting the lower front link and the shock absorber.
- Remove the bushing and stabilizer bar clamp from the rear suspension beam.
- Loosen the bolt and nut connecting the lower front link to the rear suspension beam.
- Remove the bolt and nut that connect the lower front link to the hub support.
- Remove the lower front tie rod from the vehicle.
- Remove the lower front link protective cover.
- Check the lower front link and its bushings for deformation, cracks or other damage. Replace if necessary.
Installation
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- Tighten the new tie rod mounting nuts to 95-115 N·m.
- Lower the car. Perform final tightening of the beam mounting parts on an unloaded vehicle.
- Check the wheel alignment angles.
