- Release the parking brake.
- Remove the brake caliper assembly and brake disc.

- To ensure proper self-installation of the bearing, it is necessary to turn the hub several times. Then, wrap a rope around the hub bolts as shown in the figure. Attach a spring tension gauge to the end of the rope and pull it horizontally until the hub rotates 90°. The measured hub bearing rotational resistance should not exceed the maximum permissible value of 19 N or less.
- If the measured value of the hub bearing rotational resistance is greater than the maximum permissible value, then:
2WD models: The hub assembly with bearing must be replaced.
All-wheel drive models: loosen the hub nut and then tighten it to a torque of 100-150 Nm, then re-measure the rotational resistance of the hub bearing.
