Removal
- Raise and securely support the vehicle.
- Remove the wheels.
- When removing parts, refer to Figure HM 17.001 at the beginning of the chapter.
- Loosen the mounting nuts at the bottom of the stabilizer bar connecting rods and disconnect the connecting rods from the stabilizer.
- Loosen the nuts securing the stabilizer bar clamps and remove the stabilizer bar from the vehicle.
- Check the stabilizer bar, bushings, clamps, tie rods and stabilizer tie rod brackets for deformation, cracks and damage. Replace if necessary.
Installation
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- Tighten the mounting nuts to a torque of 50-60 Nm.
- After completing the assembly, lower the vehicle.
- The anti-roll bar uses connecting rods with ball joints that have bushings. Position the ball joints so that the housing with the liners is parallel to the stabilizer.

- When installing bushings and clamps on the anti-roll bar, the bushings and clamps must be positioned inside the clamp to prevent slipping.
