Reaction bar — removal and installation (Nissan Murano Z50)

Removal

Raise and securely support the vehicle.
Remove the wheel.
Remove the spring as described in the section "Lower rear link and spring".
Remove the wheel speed sensor and sensor wiring harness from the rear axle and suspension arm.
Unscrew the mounting bolt located at the bottom of the shock absorber.
Remove the bolt and nut securing the lower front link to the hub support.
Loosen the bolt and nut securing the lower front link on the rear suspension beam side.
Remove the bolt and nut securing the reaction rod to the hub support.
Remove the torque rod mounting bolt from the rear suspension beam side, and then remove the torque rod from the vehicle.
Inspect the reaction rod and its bushings for deformation, cracks or other damage. Replace if necessary.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten the bolts and new mounting nut to 95-115 N·m.
After installation, lower the vehicle and fully tighten the beam mounting hardware on the unloaded vehicle.
Check the wheel alignment angles.
