The rear suspension includes: shock absorbers, hub supports connected by reaction rods to the suspension beam, lower rear link and lower front link for each wheel and an anti-roll bar.
Removal
- Raise and securely support the vehicle.
- Remove the wheels.
- Remove the brake calipers and hang them in a place where they will not interfere with your work. Then remove the brake discs.
Caution: When the brake calipers are removed, do not press the brake pedal.
- Remove the wheel speed sensors.
- Remove the center muffler and the main muffler.
- All-wheel drive models: Remove the driveshaft.
- Disconnect the wiring harness from the rear final drive, rear suspension beam and suspension arm.
- Disconnect the parking brake cable from the vehicle.
- Remove the lower rear links and springs.
- Loosen the mounting nuts at the top of the mounting seals.
- All-wheel drive models: Place a jack under the rear final drive.
- 2WD models: Place a jack under the rear suspension beam.
- Remove the bolts and nuts securing the rear suspension beam strut, then disconnect the strut from the vehicle and from the rear suspension beam.
- Remove the mounting nuts at the rear of the suspension beam, then remove the backstops.
- Slowly lower the jack and remove the rear suspension assembly.
Main elements of the rear suspension

Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following notes.
- When installing, take into account the location of the parts and always use new nuts and cotter pins.
- Tighten the rear suspension beam strut mounting bolts and nuts to a torque of 110-135 N·m.
- Tighten the backstop mounting nuts to 110-135 Nm.
- Lower the car.
- The final tightening of the suspension rod fastening parts with rubber bushings should be performed on an unloaded vehicle with its wheels on the ground.
- Check the wheel alignment angles.
- After installation, check the operation of the parking brake and the condition of the speed sensor wiring harness.
