Removal
- Remove the cover located under the selector lever handle.
- Remove the retaining clip from the selector lever handle.
- Remove the selector lever handle.
- Remove the console trim panel.
- Remove the console box.
- Disconnect the control cable from the control unit.
- Disconnect the control unit wiring harness.
- Remove the control device.

Installation
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- After installation is complete, adjust and check the variator ranges.
Adjusting the variator ranges
- Set the P and N range indicator switch and the selector lever to the "P" range.
- Loosen the control lever nut.
- While pressing the control lever towards the front of the vehicle, i.e. towards the P range, tighten the nut to a torque of 11-14 N·m.
