Transfer case mounting elements

Removal
- Remove the engine.
- Unscrew the gusset mounting bolts and disconnect the gusset from the engine and from the variator with the drive axle.
- Unscrew the transfer case mounting bolts and separate the transfer case from the variator with the drive axle.
- Replace the CVT side oil seal with the drive axle, located on the differential side.

Installation
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.
- When installing the transfer case on a CVT with a drive axle, install the mounting bolts in accordance with the figure below.
- Install four bolts (1) securing the transfer case to the CVT with the drive axle. The standard length of bolts is 65 mm.
- Install two bolts (2) securing the variator with the drive axle to the transfer case. The standard length of bolts is 40 mm.
- Tighten bolts (1) and (2) to 29.4-39.2 Nm.
Caution: When installing the transfer case on a CVT with a drive axle, be careful not to damage the seals.
- After installation, check the oil level and for oil leaks.
