Fusible Links — General Information (Nissan Terrano 1)

Fusible links are designed to protect the circuit during high current overloads. Links are used in high-current circuits that cannot be protected by a conventional fuse (for example in the ignition circuit, etc.). The jumpers are mounted near the battery pole; to get the jumper, you need to disconnect the connectors on both sides (photo).

If the fault has occurred in any circuit or in a group of circuits, and the fuses of individual circuits are in good condition, then check the condition of the jumper. Replace the melted jumper, having first established the cause of the fault.
