Direction indicators and hazard warning lights — general information (Nissan Terrano 1)

The direction indicator and hazard warning flashers are mounted under the dashboard and above the steering column.

If one of the indicators does not blink and there are no characteristic clicks, then the cause is a burnt-out lamp. If clicks are heard, then the cause is a short circuit.

If both indicators do not work, the causes are a blown fuse, a faulty breaker or switch, a broken or faulty connection. If the fuse is blown, check the wiring, as the cause was a short circuit.

Check the hazard warning lights using the above procedure (see section 3).

When replacing a breaker, make sure the new one is exactly the same as the one being replaced.
