2. Remove the polyethylene seal (see photo) and remove the central locking switch (only on the driver's door where equipped). Pull out the bracket to disconnect the lock rod from the bolt.

3. Remove the cover and loosen (or unscrew it completely) nut securing the outside door handle and the position of the lock cylinder. Remove the fastener from the lock cylinder (see photo). Where fitted, disconnect the keyhole light wiring.

4. Remove the spring clip to pull out the lock cylinder and remove it from the outside of the door (see photo).

5. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order. Lubricate the tip and the pivot point.
