Door lock. 1. External handle assembly; 2. Door lock cylinder assembly (from the driver's side). External handle cover (from the passenger side); 3. Front gasket; 4. Back gasket; 5. TORX bolt; 6. External handle bracket; 7. Lock cylinder rod; 8. Door lock assembly; 9. Inner handle; 10. TORX bolt.
Removal and installation
Removal
1. Remove the front door trim. See the section above "Interior equipment".
2. Disconnect the inner handle button cable and the lock button cable.
3. Remove the front door glass. See the section below "Glass and window lifters".
4. Remove the front door module assembly. See the section below "Glass and window lifters".
5. Disconnect the connector from the antenna, door and door request switch and remove the wiring clamps (on models with smart key system).
6. Remove the rubber bushing from the door side and loosen the TORX bolt.
Caution: Do not unscrew the TORX bolt with excessive force.

7. Reach in and separate the lock cylinder rod at the joint (on the handle) (from the driver's side).
1. Lock cylinder assembly; 2. Lock cylinder rod.
8. Pull the outside handle to remove the door lock cylinder assembly.

9. Disconnect the connector from the front door request switch (on models with smart key).
10. Pull the outer handle (1) and slide it towards the rear of the vehicle and remove it. (See Fig.)

11. Remove the front (1) and rear (2) gaskets.

12. Pull the outer handle bracket towards the rear of the vehicle and remove the bracket.

13. Reach in and separate the outer handle cable at the joint.
14. Remove the TORX bolts from the door lock assembly.
15. Disconnect the connector from the door lock actuator and remove the door lock assembly.
16. Separate the lock cylinder rod from the door lock assembly.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
Attention:
- When connecting the rods, turn the rod holders until you feel a click.
- After installation, check how the front door locks/unlocks.
- After installation, check how the front door closes/opens.

Removal
1. Remove the front door trim. See the section above "Interior equipment".
2. Unscrew the inner handle mounting bolts.
3. Disconnect the inner handle button cable and the lock button cable and remove the inner handle.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
Attention:
- After installation, check how the front door locks/unlocks.
- After installation, check how the front door closes/opens.
External handle

9. Pull the outer handle to remove the lock cylinder assembly (from the driver's side) or outer handle cover (from the passenger side).

10. Disconnect the connector from the front door request switch (on models with smart key).
11. Pull the outer handle (1) towards the rear of the vehicle and remove it.

12. Remove the front (1) and rear (2) gaskets.

13. Pull the outer handle bracket towards the rear of the vehicle and remove the bracket.

14. Reach in and separate the outer handle cable at the joint.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Attention:
- When connecting the rods, turn the rod holders until you feel a click.
- After installation, check how the front door locks/unlocks.
- After installation, check how the front door closes/opens.
