- System "Intelligent Key" controls the locks of all doors. You can use the remote control built into the key case or press the corresponding switch without removing the key from your pocket or purse.
- Key "Intelligent Key" is a radio signal receiver and has a constant connection with the car. The system "Intelligent Key" is a source of low-power radio waves. Surrounding conditions may affect the operation of the system "Intelligent Key" in the following cases:
- When located near a source of powerful radio waves.
- When in the range of wireless equipment.
- If the key "Intelligent Key" is in contact with or covered by any metal object or is located near any electronic equipment.
- If anyone nearby is using a remote control device that emits radio waves.
- The service life of power supplies depends on operating conditions and is on average two years.
- Finding the key "intelligent Key", operating in the mode of continuous radio signal reception, near a source of powerful radio emission (for example, a TV or a personal computer) may result in a reduction in battery life.
- Up to four keys can be used with one vehicle "Intelligent Key".
- If the key "Intelligent Key" lost or stolen, NISSAN recommends that you erase the identification code for this key from the vehicle's memory unit. This will prevent a stolen key from being used to gain unauthorized access to your vehicle.
Range

- Key "Intelligent Key" functions only when it is at a certain distance from the corresponding switch.
- If the power supply is key "Intelligent Key" discharged or there is a strong source of radio emission in the given location, then the range of the system "Intelligent Key" decreases and it may function with impairments.
- The operating radius is approximately 80 cm from the release button on the door handle (1).
- If the key "Intelligent Key" if the switch is too close to the door glass, door handle or rear bumper, the switches may not operate.
- When the key "Intelligent Key" is within range of any person, even if he does not have a key with him "Intelligent Key", can press the button to unlock/lock the doors and fuel filler door.
How to use the system "Intelligent Key"


The switch on the vehicle will not work under the following circumstances:
- If the ignition key is pressed and turned to the OFF, Acc or ON position (for models with automatic transmission).
- If the ignition key is in the ignition switch.
- If the key "Intelligent Key" was left inside the car (only the unlock function will work).
- If the key "Intelligent Key" is out of range.
- With doors open or not tightly closed (only unlock function works).
- If the key's battery is discharged "Intelligent Key".
Locking doors and fuel filler flap
1. Hold the key "Intelligent Key" with you.
2. Close all doors including the rear tailgate and fuel filler door.
3. Press the switch on the driver's door handle (A) or the rear tailgate (B).
4. All doors and the fuel filler door will be locked.
5. Use the outside door handles to ensure that the doors are securely locked.
Protection against accidental key locking in the car
- If the driver's door is open and the key "Intelligent Key" located inside the passenger compartment or even in the luggage compartment, the door locks cannot be locked from the inside using the buttons on the doors or the central locking system switch.
- If the key "Intelligent Key" is brought into the car through the open driver's door (the rest of the doors are locked), and then this door is closed, the door locks are automatically unlocked and a warning sound is turned on.
- If another registered key was brought into the vehicle interior "Intelligent Key", then the protection function against accidental locking is activated, which will not allow the doors to be locked using the buttons on the door handles. To activate the lock lock, use the remote control or the mechanical part of the key.
Unlocking doors and fuel filler door
The factory setting is for all doors to be unlocked by pressing the switch on the driver's door (A) or the trunk door (B), but you can set the door unlocking mode to be selective. All doors unlocking mode:
1. Hold the key "Intelligent Key" with you.
2. Press the switch button on the driver's door handle (A) or the rear luggage compartment door (B).
3. All door locks will be unlocked.
Selective door unlocking mode.
1. Hold the key "Intelligent Key" with you.
2. Press the switch on the driver's door handle (A) or the rear tailgate (B).
From the driver's side:
The driver's door lock and fuel filler door will be unlocked.
From the front passenger side or from the rear door side.
Only the lock of the corresponding door will be unlocked.
3. Within 5 seconds, press the switch on the driver's door handle (A) or the rear tailgate (B) again. All doors including the rear tailgate and fuel filler door will be unlocked.
To turn the selective door unlocking mode on and off, simultaneously press and hold the lock and unlock buttons for more than 10 seconds. Within 3 seconds, press the driver's door lock switch button.
If you pull the outside door handle when unlocking the door locks, the door lock may not unlock. The door lock will unlock after the outside door handle is returned to its original position. If the door lock does not unlock after the outside door handle is returned to its original position, press the button on the door handle to unlock the lock.
All doors will be locked automatically if at least one of the following actions is not performed within 2 seconds after pressing the lock switch button:
- Opening any door or the tailgate.
- Pressing the ignition switch.
- Inserting the key into the ignition switch. The interior light timer turns on the interior lights for 15 seconds when the door is unlocked and its switch is set to the DOOR position. The interior lights can be turned off without waiting 15 seconds by the following cut:
- Turn the ignition key to the ON position.
- Lock all doors using the remote control.
- Turn the interior light switch to the OFF position.
How to use the remote control lock system
(A) Lock On/Off Button; (B) Unlock button.
- Using the remote control built into the key "Intelligent Key" you can control the locks of all doors. Also, with this remote control you can control the locks while being at a distance of about 1 m from the car. The range of the system depends on the environment around the car.
- The system will not function under the following circumstances:
- If the ignition key is pressed and turned to the OFF, ACC or ON position (for models with automatic transmission).
- If the ignition key is in the ignition switch.
- If the key "Intelligent Key" is out of range.
- With doors open or not tightly closed (only the unlock function works).
- If the key's battery is discharged "Intelligent Key".
Locking doors and fuel filler door
1. Turn the ignition key to the LOCK position.
2. Close all doors, including the tailgate and fuel filler door.
3. Press the lock button (A) on the key remote control "Intelligent Key".
4. All doors and the fuel filler door will be locked.
5. Use the outside door handles to ensure that the doors are securely locked.
Unlocking doors and fuel filler door
The factory setting is to unlock all doors with one press of the door unlock button (B). You can set the door unlock mode to be selective.
All door unlock mode:
1. Press the unlock button (B) on the key remote control "Intelligent Key".
2. All doors including the rear tailgate and fuel filler door will be unlocked.
Selective door wiping mode:
1. Press the unlock button (B) on the key remote control "Intelligent Key".
2. The driver's door lock and fuel filler door will be unlocked.
3. Press the unlock button (B) on the key remote control "Intelligent Key".
4. All door locks including the trunk lid will be unlocked.
To enable and disable the selective door unlocking mode, simultaneously press and hold the lock and unlock buttons for more than 10 seconds. Within three seconds, press the driver's door lock switch button.
All doors and the fuel filler door will be locked automatically if at least one of the following actions is not performed within 2 seconds after pressing the unlock button:
- Opening any door or the tailgate.
- Pressing the ignition switch.
- Inserting the key into the ignition switch The interior light timer turns on the interior lights for 15 seconds when the door is unlocked with the veto switch in the DOOR position. The interior lights can be turned off without waiting 15 seconds as follows.
- Turn the ignition key to the ON position.
- Lock all doors using the remote control.
- Turn the interior light switch to the OFF position.
Control lamps, indicators and audible warning signals
System "Intelligent Key" has a feature designed to minimize the likelihood of key misuse "Intelligent Key" and vehicle theft. If the system detects that improper methods are being used to unlock the doors or start the engine, a warning chime will sound and the hazard warning lights will flash.
