Removal and installation
Removal
1. Remove the front door opening inner trim and the lower instrument panel trim. See Chapter "Interior and exterior body equipment".

2. Remove the lower section of the instrument panel on the driver's side. See Chapter "Interior and exterior body equipment".
3. Disconnect the connector from the cruise control clutch switch and remove the wiring clamp from the clutch pedal (on models with cruise control).
4. Disconnect the connector from the clutch switch (if any).
5. Disconnect the master cylinder piston rod tip from the clutch pedal.
6. Remove the clutch pedal assembly.
Installation
- Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Check after removal
Check for bending, damage to the clutch pedal, or cracks in the weld areas. Replace the clutch pedal if necessary.
