Engine Mounts — Replacement (Nissan Terrano 1)

1. Periodically check the condition of the engine mounts for cracks and delamination.

2. If it is necessary to replace the supports, loosen the nuts and bolts securing the supports to the engine and body brackets on both sides (photo).



3. Carefully lift the engine by the lugs (to access them you will need to remove the air filter) and lift slightly to provide access to the supports. When lifting, pay close attention to hoses, cables and wires.

4. Unscrew the nuts and bolts of the supports, paying attention to the orientation of the rubber pads of the supports (photo).



5. Install the supports in reverse order.
