2. Remove the fan and radiator.
3. Drain the oil.
4. Remove the ignition distributor.
5. Remove the oil pump.
6. Remove the coolant pump.
7. Remove the alternator belt tension adjustment lever by unscrewing the upper alternator bolt and then the lever bolts.

8. Disconnect the vacuum and fuel lines from the front cover.
9. Remove the air conditioning compressor (if provided) and move it to the side without disconnecting it from the line.
10. Remove the power steering pump (if provided) and move it aside, disconnect the hoses from the pump.
11. Remove the coolant inlet pipe.
12. Remove the oil pan.
13. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
14. Loosen the bolts and remove the front cover by lightly tapping it (photo).

15. Press in the new seal.
16. Place the gasket on the cover and apply sealant to the indicated points (photo).

17. Lubricate the front edge of the seal. Install the cover and tighten the bolts evenly in several stages to the specified torque.
