Seat adjustment
CAREFULLY!
- To avoid loss of control of the vehicle as a result of possible sudden jerks of the seat, do not adjust its position while driving.
- After adjusting, rock the seat slightly to make sure it is secure.
Back and forth
Pull the handle up and move the seat forward or backward to the desired position.
Release the handle to lock the seat into position.
Incline
To change the angle of the backrest, pull the handle up and press it with your back to set the desired angle. To move the backrest forward again, pull the handle and tilt your body forward.
CAREFULLY! The seat back should not be tilted more than is necessary for the comfort of the seated person. The seat belts work most effectively when the occupant's back is upright and snug against the seatback. To reduce the risk of slipping under the lap belt in the event of an accident and resulting injury, the seatback should not be tilted too far.
Seat lift
To set the desired seat angle and height, turn the adjustment knob.
Front seat tilt (for three-door hatchback models)
For landing and disembarking passengers of the rear seat, the back of the front seat is tilted forward.
To recline the front seatback, turn up the reclining knob or push down on the seat reclining lever. This will tilt the seatback and the entire seat will automatically move forward.
Headrests
The top of the head restraint should be at the level of the top tips of the passenger's ears. To raise the head restraint, pull it up. To lower it, press the release button and push the headrest down. After adjustment, check that the head restraint is locked.
CAREFULLY! The head restraint needs to be properly adjusted. This will greatly reduce the risk of neck injury if the head is thrown back violently in an accident.
