Checking and lubricating the throttle linkage (Nissan Primera P10)

Annually or every 20,000 km.

To ensure proper operation of the throttle linkage, it should be periodically inspected and lubricated.

1. Check the drive rod to ensure it is not twisted.

2. Check the tie rod joints for looseness and its connections for signs of corrosion or damage. Replace damaged parts if necessary.

3. Lubricate the tie rod connections with spray lubricant or lithium based grease.
