Car body — general information (Nissan Sunny B13)

The car body is made of stamped sections and can be one of the following types: 4-door sedan, 5-door hatchback and 5-door station wagon. Most elements have welded joints, in some cases assembly glue was used, the front wings are attached with bolts.

The lower part of the body and the lower part of the doors are covered with a protective material to prevent scratches.

Plastic is used extensively, especially in interior trim elements, but also for exterior elements. The outer sections of the front and rear bumpers are made of synthetic material, which is very strong, although lightweight. Plastic elements, such as wheel arch panels, are installed underneath the car to reduce corrosion.
