1. Disconnect the wire connector leading to the lever.
2. Disconnect the cable end by removing the axle.
3. Loosen the bolts and screw securing the lever bracket to the floor.
4. Remove the lever assembly with the bracket.
5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
