If after removing the distributor the position of the crankshaft was not disturbed
1. Turn the runner to the position indicated before removing the distributor.
2. Install the distributor by turning the runner slightly so that the groove on the distributor engages with the drive shaft
3. If the position of the distributor housing relative to the block has not changed, and the mounting holes match, then the marks applied on the runner and on the distributor housing should be located opposite each other.
4. Tighten the mounting bolts to the specified torque.
5. Put the cover on and connect the wires.

6. Check the ignition setting.

7. Set the piston of the 1st cylinder to the TDC position of the compression stroke.
8. Install the distributor cap. Determine the location of the 1st cylinder wire outlet and mark it with a mark on the distributor body.
9. Remove the cover, turn the runner, placing it opposite the mark.
10. Put the cover on and connect the wires
11. Check the ignition setting.
