Removal and installation
1. Remove the center lower section of the instrument panel.
2. Disconnect the intake air volume control cable (manual air conditioner) or intake valve actuator connector (automatic air conditioner).
3. Remove the left front floor level air duct.
4. Disconnect the fan motor wiring connector.
5. Unscrew 2 screws and 3 nuts, remove the blower unit assembly.
Attention:
After installation, check for leaks.
Supercharger Block Mounting Nuts:
: 4.31-5.73 Nm (0.44-0.59 kg·m)
Supercharger Block Mounting Screws:
: 0.59-1.1V Nm (0.06-0.12 kg·m)
Disassembly and assembly
Attention:
When installing the intake valve actuator, position it so that it fits snugly into the opening of valve link 1.
After installing the drives, return them to their original position (step 3 of self-diagnosis, see below).
