1. Wait until all components have cooled completely before starting work.
2. Drain the coolant from the cooling system.
3. Remove the pipes from the air flow meter to the turbo generator and from the turbo generator to the throttle chamber/IAA block (photo).

4. Unscrew the three nuts securing the exhaust manifold to the turbo generator, unscrew the front section of the exhaust system from the clutch housing, and move the manifold down as far as possible.
5. Unscrew and remove the heat-resistant shields of the turbogenerator.
6. Loosen the clamp, disconnect the oil return hose from the turbo generator joint. Plug the hose to prevent dirt from entering. Unscrew the end of the oil supply pipe joint in the cylinder block or turbo generator. Plug the end of the hose to prevent oil from leaking out (photo).

7. Remove the banjo bolts securing the coolant pipes to the turbo generator.
8. Pull back the locking plate, lift the keys and unscrew the nuts securing the turbo generator to the exhaust manifold. Remove the turbo generator with the exhaust outlet.
9. Clean the entire surface and threads thoroughly.
10. Installation is carried out in reverse order, use new gaskets. The locking plates must be replaced (photo).

11. Fill the cooling system.
12. It is recommended to change the engine oil and filter every time after removing the turbo generator.
