Use only lubricant specifically designed for air conditioning systems with HFC-I34a (R-134a) refrigerant (Nissan A/C System Oil Type R). Using other lubricants may cause compressor failure.
The specified lubricant quickly absorbs moisture from the air. Therefore, the following precautions must be observed:
- When removing air conditioning system parts or disconnecting piping, immediately close openings to prevent atmospheric moisture from entering the system.
- When installing air conditioning system components, remove the plugs immediately before connecting to the system. Perform the connection as quickly as possible.
- Use only lubricant stored in a sealed container. Close the container immediately after use.
Avoid inhaling refrigerant and refrigerant vapors. This may irritate the mucous membranes of the face and throat. In case of sudden depressurization of the system, continue work only after completely ventilating the room.
Wear safety glasses and gloves when working with the air conditioning system.
Do not allow containers containing refrigerant to heat above 52°C. Keep refrigerant away from open flames as it produces toxic gas when ignited.
Do not use compressed air to blow out the air conditioning system.
