Shoulder strap height adjustment
(for front seats)
The upper shoulder strap mount should be adjusted to the most comfortable position for the person sitting and to ensure that the strap passes over the shoulder. To set the mount to the desired position, press the locking button and move the mount.
Shoulder strap bracket
(for three-door hatchback models)
The shoulder belt can be adjusted to two positions at the top mount height to suit the passenger's height.
The position is selected by turning the bracket.
The height of the belt fastening is selected so that the belt can be pulled out without effort.
CAUTION: The bracket must be returned to its original position before leaving the car.
Shoulder strap hook (if any)
The rear seat belts must be secured to the hook as shown in the illustration when not in use or when the rear seat is folded down.
CAUTION: Before fastening the belt, make sure it is removed from the hook.

Fastening the belt
1. Insert the tongue into the buckle marked "CENTRE" until it snaps into place.
2. To lengthen the belt, pull it out while holding the tongue at a right angle to the belt. To shorten the belt, pull the free end of the belt away from the tongue and move the clamp to eliminate slack.
