2. Release the ball joint from the steering knuckle (see section Removal and installation the front suspension control arm).
3. Loosen the three nuts securing the support to the knuckle. Disconnect the support from the control arm.
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Make sure that all fasteners are tightened to the required force. Do not forget to replace the cotter pin.
Note: If the position of the nut needs to be adjusted to align the grooves of the crown with the hole for the cotter pin, tighten it to the required angle - do not loosen it under any circumstances.

5. Replace the wheel, lower the vehicle to the ground and tighten the wheel nuts to the required torque (see Chapter Settings and ongoing maintenance).
Models since 1995.
On models from 1995 onwards, the ball joint is built into the suspension control arm assembly and is replaced together with the latter in the event of wear or damage (see section Removal and installation the front suspension control arm).
