2. Remove the steering wheel.
3. Remove the steering column cover.
4. Carefully drill out the two shear screws, using a drill bit that matches the diameter of the screw shaft.
5. Unscrew the two additional screws and remove the lock. Disconnect the wires.
6. When installing, align the holes and tighten the screws. Check the operation of the lock by inserting the key and tighten the screws.
7. Tighten the shear screws until the heads break off (photo).
