1. Care consists in periodically checking the tension of the pump belt, the liquid level in the tank and the condition of the tubes and hoses.
2. In case of abnormal operation of the steering, the car should be taken to a car service to check the pressure in the system and the tightness in the bearings of the steering gear.
3. If during these checks it turns out that the pump or steering gear is faulty, then the hydraulic booster should be replaced (beyond repair).
4. If a leak is found in the seals, the seals should be replaced, but with a mandatory check of the hydraulic booster in a car service.
5. To adjust the pump belt, unscrew the tensioner roller locknut and turn the adjusting bolt (Ch.1).
6. All power steering parts except pump, hoses and hydraulic part are the same as non-power steering parts.
