15.1 To access the gearbox, you need to remove the rubber apron

3. Unscrew the bipod nut and remove the bipod (photo).

4. On vehicles with power steering, unscrew and plug the pipe fittings and drain the fluid from the hydraulic drive.
5. Unscrew the bolts and remove the gearbox (photo).

6. Installation is performed in the reverse order. Before tightening the lower hinge bolt, set the wheels in the straight-ahead position, check the position of the steering wheel. The groove on the shaft must be aligned with the bolt hole in the flexible coupling. Tighten all bolts to the specified torque. When installing the pitman arm, check the alignment of the pitman arm and shaft splines. Tighten the nut to the specified torque. On vehicles with power steering, fill in the fluid and bleed the air.
