4. On vehicles with power steering, unscrew and plug the pipe fittings and drain the fluid from the hydraulic drive.
5. Turn away bolts and remove a reducer (photo).

6. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Before tightening the lower joint bolt, set the wheels in a straight-ahead driving position, check the position of the steering wheel. The groove on the shaft must be aligned with the bolt hole in the flexible coupling. Tighten all bolts to the specified torque. When installing the bipod, check the coincidence of the splines of the bipod and shaft. Tighten the nut to the specified torque. On vehicles with power steering, add fluid and bleed air.
