The standard Teggapo/Pathfinder vehicles have rear-wheel drive, some vehicles have all-wheel drive. The vehicles are equipped with carburetor or injection 4-cylinder engines (in-line cylinder) or 6 - cylinder (with V-shaped arrangement of cylinders, hereinafter V6) engines. The chassis of the vehicles consists of a 4- or 5-speed manual gearbox or automatic transmission, a propeller shaft and a rear axle beam with a gearbox and differential. On vehicles with a 4x4 formula, the drive to the front wheels is carried out through a transfer case, propeller shaft, gearbox and half-axles. The front suspension is lever-torsion, with power steering (on late production cars). Coil springs are used as elastic elements of the rear suspension. The front brakes are disc brakes, the rear brakes are self-adjusting drum brakes or disc brakes.
